OK so I got my oil changed on my 8 today and the service guy told me that my car has 3 recalls that need to get fixed asap.
I ask, what are they?
He said the cats, spark plugs & wires, throttle body all need to be inspected or replaced should take 3hrs to do and we can put you in a rental for 2 days at no charge. I was like ok, no. I have to work today after you change my oil and why do I need a rental car for 2 days if its only 3hrs of work? He said just to be on the safe side. I still said no.

So anyone have this work and the recall work done on there 8?
I'm confused on this.

im suprised you didnt have it done. any chance for them to put in new plugs, wires, and cats would be nice. oh and i had no idea there was a tb spacer for 8's im also curious if anyone has one.

 

hey, the day after i got my 8, i went by mazda and they told me about the recalls, i didnt have my 8 for a week, i almost died, they stuck me in a freakin malibu!!!, my cat,and plugs were replaced, i also got a reflash, but HEY! i get 10 free oil changes!

VolcomStoneX, I had a rental car for like 2-3months till I got my engine replaced. This is just some small parts 1 or 2 days tops.

 

Psst - I think he's pulling your leg on the throttle body spacer (at least I hope so).
