I have searched but found everything but what i was looking for,,,,

i am building a complete system, Components, amps subs radio.....

the only question i have is what i need to do to keep all of my other car functions when i remove the radio....what do i need to keep to retain all display functions....any help would be appreciated.....i have already made a custom dash piece to house the radio where the factory raio was....any diy or anything would be great...

Some people are just keeping the original head unit behind the dash and some are relocating it to the trunk. It takes some sifting, but the info is here.
