Crutchfield's installation guide & sonicelectronix
1. Is crutchfield's free installation guide worth the wait? They have a pair of speakers I'm interested in for the same price that I could get at a car audio store (and free shipping). So it's either buy from a store and get speakers today, or buy online from Crutchfield and wait, but get a free installation guide.
2. Anyone ever heard of sonicelectronix? They're beating the pants off any other price I've seen. For two pairs of speakers, I save $40 + $70!! I can basically get the Kappa series for the price of the Reference. Those prices are so good it makes me wonder...
Thanks

check to make sure the product is new, not refurbished, and also verify that you are getting a warranty. they look like they have really good prices, some of which are WAY below retail, and i dont know about all of the product, but some lines, like jl audio, alpine, and kenwood excelon are not to be sold over the internet except through crutchfield, unless it is refurbished product.

Also check woofersetc.com. They have decent prices, guarantee A-Stock (unless specified) and offer a year warranty on everything.
If you are reading this, you have access to the internet. There is way more information there than any 1 installation book will ever give you. Check out here.

You don't need an installation guide if you've ever worked on speakers.
I had changed speakers twice before, and was able to upgrade the speakers in this car np.
Like jstkilntim said, there is tons of info on the net.
I did everything from reading this forum.
BTW - As mentioned by lurch, you probably won't get the official warranty if you buy online at most places.
If you're not concerned w/ warranties, I wasn't, eBay is still cheaper than sonicelectronix.
