SevenStock for $173 - no excuses pepole - Sep 27+28
Wether you've just bought an RX-8, are interested Mazda sportscar & racing series, or just like VERY VERY cool car shows, Mazda's OFFICALLY throwing us a party and it's the best one of the year
This is THE event to be at and worth EVERY PENNY. This carshow has ever rotary car produced from 1960-2003. For 2 days, it's heaven on earth. Last year had over 1500 Mazda sportscars I believe, and most were rotary powered. There are SOOO many cars, 6 hours isn't enough time to see everything. And that's just Saturday. Sunday's just as great.
Everything from RX-7s, Rotary Formula Cars, RX-2, RX-3, RX-4, RX-5/Cosmo, Original Cosmo, Cosmo Luce, REPU pickup truck, custom cars, 4 rotor dragsters, Lemans 4 rotor cars, etc... etc...
Airfair from Atlanta is only $173 roundtrip. Can't beat that

-Check out the Mazda corporate displays (prototypes, race cars, design studio displays, etc..)
-See and chat with top Rotary Racers from around the country
-Participate in a marketing clinic
-Win a great prize at the HUGE SevenStock raffle
-Attend one of the 3 Tech Sessions
-oh yea, check out the 500 or so rotary vehicles
To tell you the truth one day is not really enough!! :D

I want to see some of the custom eccentric shafts and intermediate housings that are pieced together in the 4 rotors this time around. Last time they just bolted some rotor housings together.

Looking for some answers
I can't go, but I hope some of you who are there take time out to go to the tech presentations and ask hard questions about gas mileage. From what I read on the forum, mileage seems as far behind what was promised (those EPA figures and all the hype about side intakes being MUCH more economical than past rotaries) as horsepower. What I really hope to hear is that new engines will improve, and we early buyers who keep the car for its many other good qualities will have some improvements applied to our engines, too.
