Change radio text on startup???

Change radio text on startup???

is there any way that you can change the startup text of the radio. it say Mazda RX8, i wonder ?

you'd have to hack the firmware of the radio...

ok, this is not something that is beyond my skill, although dumping the firmware and the reflash would be a little iffy fo me, as i am not familiar with this sort of electronics. any leads in the right direction?

it can be done, but anytime you get your car reflashed, it's going to reset back to factory. So no one has bothered.

You sure about that?

The ECU and the radio firmware are not the same.

Flashing the ECU should not have any effect on the raido's display. The ECU controls a lot in our car, but not that much.
