hey guys. i was going to get the jic magic exhuast system for the 8(not the full titanium but the stainless steel w/titanium tips). If any of you guys have info on it can you please tell me how it sounds and if there were any gains that you felt?

 

save your money and buy something diffrent, i have it and im not overly impressed with it.

 

The Ti version, though expensive, is awesome. I still can't get over how quiet it is for the weight; like OE cruising around and slightly louder well-tuned growl WOT, not obnoxious at all. I managed to find a used one at a great price for my GF's car. If I ever had to buy a new one for a street RX-8 I'd take the hit for the Ti version, well worth it IMO.

 

Got the full Ti-exhaust here and I love it. Nice low rumble but not much louder than stock. Plus it weighs almost nothing.

 

^^^ same here, just got the full ti. couldnt be happier. although Im still breakin in the exhaust so havent really WOT on it yet. but cruising and normal driving. it sounds great. just like stock but deeper.

 

WOW thnx guys!! that makes me feel sooo much better. i was hopping it wouldnt be TOO loud yay! im gettin the stainless steel for $400. is that a good price? anyways, any of you guys have a midpipe on it? i was thinkin of gettin the B&B test pipe. Do you guys think it'll be too loud? i live in cali so i can't have it being obnoxiously loud. thnx for the help guys!!

 

I have the jic SS and I got it used for 500 from mazdatrix

i dont really like it because it sounds like a stock exhuast

 

What kind of gains do you think this exhast gave you?
