mazdaspeed dual can exhaust ???
for those of you that have one. could you take a pic of the actual y pipe. the part that connects to the two different mufflers....
also the inside diameter of the pipe that connects to the cat.

EDIT: looked to me like they used a different angle, approx. 45 - 60 degrees, guess I didn't really understand where you are heading with it, really no issue with it that I can see

the shot is saw was very small. this makes it clear to me. it looks like they added the extra stuff as a brace.

yeah, in theory that long weld could be a weak link depending on the material thickness, the hangers grab the mufflers at the far end, that puts all the weight moment loading on that weld joint
