mazdaspeed dual can exhaust ???

for those of you that have one. could you take a pic of the actual y pipe. the part that connects to the two different mufflers....

also the inside diameter of the pipe that connects to the cat.

it's metric, the nearest equivalent is 2.5" OD tubing, just take two 90 deg elbows, cut them down the centerline, and weld together to form same size inlet that splits in half

just saw a photo on the dark side that is not like that.

something has been cobbled up i think. need photos for proof.

I am having some difficulties posting a picture. Any tips.... I was trying to insert an image, but it seems that it is asking for a URL. Can you just paste a picture?

When you reply there is a Manage Attachments button that you need to select to upload a pic.

EDIT: looked to me like they used a different angle, approx. 45 - 60 degrees, guess I didn't really understand where you are heading with it, really no issue with it that I can see

the shot is saw was very small. this makes it clear to me. it looks like they added the extra stuff as a brace.

yeah, in theory that long weld could be a weak link depending on the material thickness, the hangers grab the mufflers at the far end, that puts all the weight moment loading on that weld joint
