How do I get HP/TQ?
SIZE=3]Is there anyway to get some serious power out of the 8, say 300 WHP or more? Where are the turbos/superchargers for these cars other then the Greddy? Please help I am in the dilemma of the 8 VS the 350z. I like the looks/functionality of the 8 more, but I can't ignore that it is seriously lacking in the straight-line performance.[/SIZE]
im sorry to say but if all u want to do is autobahn race the z your car but if u want to road race or race in canyans the 8 will be your car. yes 300whp can be done with greddy kit just need to get the right stuff with it and take some time tuning it.
The easiest way is to click the tab that says "major horsepower upgrades" and look at the top 10 threads in this section of the forum. I mean I won't even recommend using the search button, just because it is already there. Just put a few minutes of effort into it.

I really .... I just cant imagine what is it like when people got their *** kicked in corners. Cuz I think I gave quite a few people that feeling. Yep, I cant outrun them in straight, but couple of corners will get me way ahead of them just feels great.

One way to get "serious straight-line power" is invest in American V8 Muscle.
Sure a turbo or SC will increase your power but they aren't without their problems...
...and you can kiss your warranty good-bye with these upgrades.
Good Luck!
If you want straight line power, I guess there's no point in getting the Z, you might as well get an STI or EVO unless you are very particular about RWD. Obviously the 8 would disappoint you in this sense, its basically built for corner chargers.

Let's be fair, though...head to head in OEM form, the RX-8 will not leave the STI or EVO in the corners. I think the advantage of the 8 is that it is very competent and tossable despite it's relatively soft stock suspension. I think the 8 has a lot of headroom past what the factory gave us.
