This thread's probably going to get moved FYI.

Anywho, one thing that was interesting was that he said the marketplace for the Kabura is supposed to compete with the Scion tC ($20k or less) which means there's a higher chance that the RX-8 (or a similar rotary successor) will still have a spot in the Mazda scheme for years to come. Good to know.

that little feature with the addition headroom in the back is cool, but doesnt seem like it will be in final production if the kabura does go into prod

Scion TC price range eh? well that means they'll butcher the concept and shove some anemic engine in. Awesome.

'Very Cool' indeed! I didn't realize there was a 'Freestyle door' on the driver side as well as the sliding into body door on the passenger side. And BTW the Tc now as available TRD supercharger.

After looking at that video, I started thinking about the 2+1 seating arangement. The front passenger seat is moved forward. This would block your view out the right hand window at intersections. Also it would make conversation between the passenger and the driver difficult, in that the passenger couldn't look at the driver while talking. You have to open the roof vent to have a rear seat passenger?

The rear seat is also suppose to recline so I would think the roof vent is not really needed.
