All Weather Tires for summer?

I just sold my factory rims and tires. Reasons - 1. I have Bridgestone Blizzak 17" all-weather tires on for the winter, and I like my new rims that they're on better than the factory ones. Also, the factory tires had 14,000 miles and were near the end of their life. On top of that, the ride and noise from the factory tires was so harsh that I'm kind of relieved to be on something smoother and quieter.

OK anyway, the question is, if I get lazy in the spring and don't buy another set for the summer, can I just leave the Blizzaks on all summer?

Question # 2, I got $500 for the old rims/nearly worn out tires. Did I sell them too cheap? They weren't perfect, two had curb scrapes.

The wheels retail new for $400 each and a quality wheel repair is $150 so their max value would have been about $1,300. You basically sold yours for 38% of their max value. Not unreasonable.

The value of a worn out Potenzas is probably less than the cost to ship it anywhere.
