I will be at the Sonics on Hillsborough (near Veterans) today at 6pm if anyone else would like to meet with their RX-8.

The East Side Miatas of Tampa Bay meet there every Wed nite at 6 and my husband is in that group. I go to meet him after work, and am the only RX-8 there.

Last week Foz (new Black RX-8) and Digital Damage (also new Black RX-8)showed and it was a pretty good meet. The lot is quiet, except for Mazdas and the food in my stomachee, well....I occasionally eat Tums afterwards.

There is an average of 12-16 Miatas and the rest of the Sonics is empty. It will be a nice night for a drive with the weather being so cool. Evil Miata (new Red RX-8) needs to show....

anyone coming? if not, more food for me!!

James won't be there tonight because he is still installing and waiting on parts that will be delivered today. He installed a new A/B pipe last night with a new Cat and drove to work today without a muffler! He is waiting on the flange piece to connect the final pieces. I will be there, but solo.

 

So that is what I heard this morning!!!!

 

It is actually quieter than the original exhaust that was on it. The pipe is larger in diameter and there is a resonater in it, I guess? It is still freakin' loud. The exhaust he bought is a 3 inch for a RX-7 which is nutz too.
