The look of a RX8 Driver after riding in an track prepped Evo 8.....
why did he tape his headlights over?
1. when taping cars for aerodynamic reasons, you tape over places where air could get caught...ie, seams. he didn't cover any seams, just the lights.
2. at autox speeds, wind resistance isn't an issue.
edit:
ok, so that's on a track, not autox (from what i can tell). well, that just goes back to he did it wrong.

The lights still shatter if hit hard enough at speed. The tape is there to be courteous as to hold it together best as possible and not leave crap all over the track.
NOTE, my hands are in PLAIN view.
Lego, if he would have snapped a pic of you driving in your session, yes, I would have been smiling like that too. AND, if you would have run the camera in the session I drove your car, well, people would think I was having a 'good' time. /cheesy 70's por*no music/ chcicchci wowowowow chicicich/cheesy music off./

There are only a couple things that are as exciting as being on that track with an RX-8 or Evo 8. The other is private.

I loved the feeling of the well balanced 4WD during the turns. It's very different than the well balanced rear wheel drive feeling. The slight drifts are such bliss. It was also very confortable and easy to drive it fast. It's similar to the RX-8 in that feeling. The feeling (and reaction) during turns is the main difference. Different feelings, both amazing.
Lego, you look like a kid on a roller coster. :D
STF I've been reading all this awesome EVO stuff and I hope I have the pleasure of watching you run sometime. Sorry I missed the Roebling event.
