Exclamation Help! I'm drowning in resurrected threads!!

I have nothing against bumping an old thread, but could we display the beginning date of the threads in the thread list?

Seriously! I leave town and all of a sudden someone's busy resurrecting the dead! I don't even notice until someone mentions missing a certain member, then I look and see the thread started in 2003!

What's going on here?!?!?

If y'all would start more interesting threads (contribute, that is) then we wouldn't have to bump old threads.

but the new threads just repeat what old threads say...on average i'd say there are only 25% new material a month that hasn't already been discussed to death in one form or another:

1) check out my new RX8
2) new Mazda Flash
3) mileage
4) should I sell my 8 for an STi?
5) I want more HP

After a while, it starts getting really old..........................

the topic is bumping old threads not starting new threads that say what an old thread already says.
