Best place to get Greddy Tuned?

I've got the kit and nowIm just waiting to put it in.

I have a track event Im doing august 28th and after that Im going to put it in. I was looking at having Pettit Racing do the install. I first spoke with them and they said 1200 installed and tuned, which seemed high after reading some of the prices posted here, but I figured its installed and TUNED so it would be worth it.

I then called them back a while later to ask some more questions etc... and they now say that the 1200 is going to be just the basic install, and to tune it is going to be more.

Furthermore they say that the cars are running fine at 5 psi and that they dont really need to go to 7psi, which is what I want to run.

For being a reputable rotary shop Im not feeling the most comfortable with having them do the install. Im sure they wont mess anything up, but Im not paying 2k to have the install & tune done.

So....Im in South FL but I may drive where I need to find a good shop that knows what they're doing with tuning it to run 7psi. Or am I unreasonable in my thoughts?

I have friends that will do a complete SR20 motor swap on a nissan 240 for $1500 so to me $1200 to bolt on a damn turbo seems way out of line. Anything in North FL or maybe some of the closer states?

That was what I was considering. I know we could put it on, and then the issue would just be finding someone to correctly tune it.

That may be what I end up doing.

I just heard about mazsport over in largo somewhere close to Tampa. About 3-3.5 hr drive from west palm. They have a new INTERCEPTOR-X EMS that is pretty neat. Looks like it works great with the greddy kit! They do tuning. Check it out.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

Keep the opinions coming.

Im really curious where the people with turbo kits here got theirs installed & tuned and what they thought of the place that did it.
