Problem mounting MS spoiler

Yesterday I got my CF MS wing, the nockoff from carsoption.com. I thought I would mount it today, but all the welded trunk lid reinforcment on the underside covers where you have to put the screws to mount the wing.

What's the best way to do this?

I have the CF MS wing as well, not from carsoption thou. But I guess it should be the same. You actually will not drill the reinforcement area. You will just miss them, drilling only on flat outer end (just miss the cushioned area).

Two people lined mine up by sight on the outside and then taped it in place. Once in place, there is enough clearance from the top to get a small scribe in place to mark reference spots for the location of the two mouning brackets.

After these spots are made, dismantle the wing, line the brackets up and drill. The holes will come through on the flat spots on the underside to the edge of the deck lid.

TWe used epoxy on the edge of the trunk lide where the lower wing (with the lip) meets. I did not want vibration.
