Service scheudle

Does everyone take the 8 for service every 4 months or 8000km which ever come first. ( according to their schedule) or based on your mileage. I don't drive my car too often and I usualy drive 4000Km / 4months. It almost doest make sense to follow their maintenance schedle.

I think most automotive enthusiasts/nerds recommend that maintainance should be based on mileage. I too put little mileage on compared to others so for me, the maintainance according to mileage makes sense.

Just think of it, if you store your car for the winter and put virtually zero kilos for those months, would it make sense to bring it in for maintenance.

Just a note, if you store your car for the winter, the 1st thing you should do when you pull it out is an oil change! I would also be flushing the brake fluid more often than recommended because it will absorb moisture while sitting.
