B&B Race Cat Pipe question....

Does anyone have a B&B race cat pipe on their RX8? If so I just want to know how you guys like/dislike it? How's the sound? Any horsepower increase? Any info would be very helpful since I'm in the market to buy a race cat...

I have the B&B cat back with racing pipe. It increased performance, but it was some what loud. I was concerned I would blow out the neighbors windows when I fired up in the mornings. Put in a glass pack and that toned it down just right. :D Tell you one thing, it does not sound like the RX8 you drive from the lot.

One thing putting in the B&B system revealed because you have to take out the cat, the RX8 is set real rich for US imports. I am still tuning it back. Man I get some of the most spectacular tail pipe flashes when I run up the RPM and let it drop. On the track, I get a lot of attention and thumbs up with my dragon fire display on the straight-aways. :D

Correct. Run a straight pipe at your own risk!

If you want something that is legal, then check out a high flow cat.

You can standa foot from the tail pipe and the fumes will rise up your lead and make your eyes tear. The RX8 is so rich. $$$
