Do you know if any companies are coming up with a single din dash kit to fit the rx8. I would really like to put an aftermarket radio in there and I know the whole front panel would have to be replaced with a spot for a cd player?

Chances are no as it is not only a new highly expensive kit to make but also a major modification to the factory radio as well. Not many manufacturers will go through the process of making a mold for this car when the minority of users will be replacing the audio system. The sheer cost of tooling up to do this is a huge investment of capitol that more than likely they would never recover. For now, the only hope on the horizon is going to be the high end specialty shop that can do this kind of modification.

 

I saw it on the RX-8 hyper REV japanese mag, but don't know the price or where to get it.
