Racing Beat and Greddy sp2 question...

I'm thinking about adding an exhaust to my RX8. After doing some research on this site... i've narrowed it down to 2 exhausts. The RB and the Greddy SP2. My question is are the tips of these two exhaust the same size? i saw some pictures of both and from what i can tell.. it seems like the tips on the Greddy SP2 is stupid big.

the greddy has 4.5" diameter exterior tips while I believe the RB has approximately a 4" diameter exterior pipe. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ask, and you shall receive. Hopefully this is an okay angle for you. I wouldn't necessarily say the GReddy SP2 is stupid big, but IMHO I think it fits the hole nicely. Sounds great too! I also heard you might have fitment issues if you're planning on a Mazdaspeed rear bumper. Sorry about the size. :o

the greddy tips also aren't round..more like oval if i remember correctly. also the rb has 4" tips and a 3" exhaust pipe...the greddy is 60 mm i believe. (maybe 65 i forget)

I like both the RB abd GReddy exhaust systems, but I have the SP2. Trust me, it may seem big at first, but IMO I think it's because stock is too small. They actually fill the holes quite nicely. The SP2 will change color on you though and get a little gold, but I think it looks cool.

That's a bit alarming

I'm actually considering going with the RB just because from the short clips I've heard, I seem to prefer the sound. Just a bit more subtle for my taste. (IMO)

Little off topic: Any tricks to keeping these exhausts looking nice and shiny? (YES, I am lazy and don't feel like searching)

Damn, those racing beats are nice. The sp2 is too big IMO, but then again, i might still end up getting one.
