How many track days (race tracks (road course or ovals) , not drag strip or autocross) do you do each year? Or plan to do each year? Not necessarily in your RX8 but in any car.

At least 5, mostly at Pocono, but just did the Shenadoah circuit at Summit Point, and I really think that beats anything Pocono can (or could ever offer). Will be up there next saturday, trying out the SCCA club racing circuit (not racing, just HPDE). Somehow I'll find the $$ for the July PDA event, and then there are two back to back days with DELVAL.org. , a mostly miatae day on the norht course. Still , not all that fast, but sure is fun. Usually run in the blue group, as it's more fun to be one of the faster in the bluefolk, than to be a slowpoke in the fast group. My miata isn't quite up to lapping Vipers, and Porsches, as that's what usually in the faster groups.

When you say day...are you talking event? Or actual days? All the events I've been to thus far are 2 days in length. (4 sessions one day + parade, + 4 sessions the other day + parade).

 

I was thinking days, so a 2 day event would be two days.

So far, I've only done 2 days at Road America (first DE of my life) but I'm signed up for a 2 day school at Gingerman (South Haven, MI) and I will sign up for another 2 day school at Grattan (near Grand Rapids, MI). I'll also do 2-4 afternoon lapping sessions at Gingerman later this summer after I learn the line.
