Quick advice needed for AutoX tomorrow

For the jackass newbie (me) please offer your advice to the following:

1) My car is entirely stock. I know I should over inflate the tires to a certain degree for this. The temperatures tomorrow are supposed to be high. What is the suggested inflation?

2) I plan to bring the following items: helmet, cooler with lots of water, raincoat, sunblock, tire pressure guage, money, car. Anything I am forgetting?

I would suggest around 40psi to start.

Bring a hat, you will have helmet head it also keeps the sun off you.

Check your oil.

1/4 tank of fuel.

Take all of the loose items out of your car before tech. Also check under your drivers seat for any loose items, you wont like it the first time you hit the brakes and stuff slides out under your feet.

Have fun. :D

p.s. beat all the non-RX8s.

Yeah, take everything that you don't need for the day out of your car before you leave.

I'm not too sure about the 1/4 tank of fuel though because there have been anecdotes that the '8 encountered fuel starvation when taking hard corners.

Well, I figure even if I fill the gas tank, if I drive it around for a few minutes I can get it down to 1/4 :p :p :p

We had it at the Atwater Natl tour, very sticky concrete surface, just under 1/4 tank. Ran with the low fuel light on this past weekend on regular pavement and no fuel starve.

We had the light come on in Wendover without issue, but added fuel just to be sure
