I have a sunlight silver rx-8 and I'm really thinking about getting the chromed handles and putting it on my 8. I think it would blend well with my 8 seeing that I have the stainless steel strakes, and the "chromed DIY billet grille" Check out the pictures at www.cardomain.com/silverrx8 in order to see if it'd mix well. I think it would work nicely. Add a little flare.

For those who have them, what do you think of them? Good? Bad? Last long? Also, if I put them on and don't like them, how could I get them off? It's 3mm tape on the back side of it. Will this damage my paint at all?

 

uhh no ... shave them off it you want to blend.

PLEASE don't. Certain cars just shouldn't have a bunch of chrome pieces. Unless you drive an SUV, don't ruin your car.

I have chrome door handles on my winning blue i think it looks great i should be receiving my chrome fuel door tommorow i also just installed clear corners just got my car like 2 months ago so making smaller mods right now ive been waiting on my fender strakes for like a month now ordered everything off ebay chrome door handles were $20 including shipping i think its a good deal they look nice and havent had any problems with them yet

 

Please, stick on chrome door handles. I hope your drivining an neon srt instead of an RX-8????

 

I tried really hard to hide every inch of exposing chrome on my previous car, so I'm glad our 8 doesn't have any. IMHO, I wouldn't draw attention to something or some part of a car that doesn't need attention. So no, I wouldn't put chrome door handles on any color RX-8.

i dont see why its so ugly...i assume people who dont like the handles dont like the billet gas door cover either? i'd consider these for protecting the paint from years of daily grabbing and pulling

And no I don't like the billet gas doors too Audi TT for me.

 

Audi TT's are buht-ugly, but Audi quattro b5 and b6 s4 v8 and 2.7t's are awesome

 

I don't like the chrome handles....but I love how the chrome fender strakes look on my 8!!
