Hell it starts much earlier than 18...I have a 10 going on 15yr old...she's bad enough :D

 

If I can tell you one thing its enjoy absolutely every moment you can with them while they are young. The saying they grow up so fast is very true. i just went and had my kids picture taken for Mother's Day. 17 and 14 years old. Depressing to think i will never have them back like the cute girl in the pic and to also think they are steadily heading towards the door. Next time the young ones do something that drives you nuts, embrace it...

 

Mine are 14, 8, and 3, but all boys. That brings different issues to the door, but still enjoyable.

 

great pic.....she is adorable......and yes, enjoy them while they're young......as they get older, your responsibilities change....my sons are 23 and 19....now they have new cars....of course, Momma had to co-sign but how could I say no after I got my 8 and kept the SUV.......lol
