I took my car to the Mazda dealer today to look at my rear suspension... One side I can place three fingers between the fender and tire and on the other i can just place two... they said they thought it was normal and they didnt have any '04's to compare it to and said they would have to wait until they got one in... They had an '05 but told me its a diffrent model and they couldnt make the comparison... WTF?? Is this normal or is my rear suspension jacked?

 

As strange as it sounds, yes this is normal.

maybe you have stuff in your trunk thats making one side heavier then the other?

 

treece are you talking about the front and rear or the entire left and right sides?

 

Check that the surface your on is flat.
