Ok, so, what OEM accessories are you gonna put on your RX-8?

I'm getting the aluminum door sills, front and rear rotor accents, cargo net, and all weather mats (when they become available).

not wanting to be mean, but you may want to rethink the rotor shaped valve stem covers. i had some special chrome stem covers on one of my other cars, they lasted about a week before someone stole them. so thought i would just warn you you may want to rethink before you spend $40.00 on something that will probably be gone in a week.

 

Just the splash guards and cargo net for me... Dealer ordered the spare kit w/o my knowledge (until Fubar ran my VIN, thx fubar) so that will be free or not included.

 

all i want are the strakes, rotor wheel centers and the lip spoiler should it ever become available. cover maybe but might buy a house by the end of the year and then i'll have a garage.:D

 

I'll just have to keep them in the safe deposit box and bring them out on 'special' occasions. Wonder if they come in a velvet and satin lined box?

 

Thanks for the information. I wasn't going pay full price for them though I really would hate to get them on there just to have them stolen off.

What the heck. This is the first car in my life just for me. The kids are grown up and I earned it. Time for a little fun.


I just hope they actually have or get all of the accessories soon.

 

if i get vanity plates (which i'd like to do and it's only 20 bucks a renewal here), but i'd want something simple like "eight"

No Options. Aftermarket is better and cheaper. Aftermarket HIDs, HID foglights, I will replace most of the car anyways, no point in paying twice
