Lamps required on all motor vehicles except motorcycles
62. (1) When on a highway at any time from one-half hour before sunset to one-half hour after sunrise and at any other time when, due to insufficient light or unfavourable atmospheric conditions, persons and vehicles on the highway are not clearly discernible at a distance of 150 metres or less, every motor vehicle other than a motorcycle shall carry three lighted lamps in a conspicuous position, one on each side of the front of the vehicle which shall display a white or amber light only, and one on the rear of the vehicle which shall display a red light only. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 62 (1).

Long/Short - Clear corners bulbs in Ontario can be amber or white.

Personally I went with Xtreme White (Stealth).

 

I would like to know where to get the clear corners ? And how much ? I'm driving the sunlight silver and I would love to be able to change mine ...The orange color just won't do !!

 

You can get them all over the place! Here on the forum or off Ebay. I got mine off Ebay from a fellow Canadian. VERY FAST shipping. I sent money via PayPal and recieved the corners 2 days later!

I paid $81 Cdn (that's including shipping). The guy is really nice and replies to emails quickly. Just say that you're Canadian and you want to pay in Cdn. And if you're in toronto, I think you can arrange to pick it up to save shipping and to get the corners on in a hurry. Seeing as that you've got a silver 8, that orange really stands out!

Oh and in case you're wondering, I changed the 194 stock bulbs to LEDs. Much more esthetically pleasing.

Danielson, it's pretty easy to do the swap. The instructions in the DIY are great (great step by step). If you've taken off your bumper, it'll be a piece of cake.

I'll PM you when I get back from the gym and Radio Shack (doing the fog light rewire).

 

I got my clear corners from canzoomer, for about $80 cdn. It was shipped very quickly and the install took me 30 minutes. 15 a side.
