RX-8 Photography Contest

I was lamenting to dmp about not being able to find as good locations to take pictures of the car as he seems to (some examples) - and he pointed out that in Utah, I should be able to find plenty of good backdrops. (We both love photography, with or without our 8's). So I went searching, and this is the result.

I also want anyone else who has photos of their RX-8 in a cool setting to post them.

So here are a few I took last week:

And I've attached a few more.

Any other amateur photographers out there?

Crap, I know. I haven't got my real plates yet and was waiting to take it off until after I did - I didn't want them to cry about it when I took it in to get the plates.

But at least now, for all intents and purposes, the yellow plate never existed

Hey that's awesome! That's the kind of location that I'm jealous of... it's such a desert here that in the valley, that even if there is that many trees around, there's still powerlines or some gaudy monstrosity of a house obstructing the picture

Dmp, that looks like a RX-8 model car taken close up, in like 1/16 scale, what with how you did the focus like that. Great pic!

My RX-8 near a small lake

Here's a picture I'm proud of although it isn't nearly as good as the ones above.

I dunno - I like the contrast with the yellow grass, etc. I would have PS'd out that sign, however.

:D

Nick 'is' greatness, btw...if only some of y'all knew how talented he is....you'd be blown away.

:D

Lest he have no flaws, he DOES owe me an "Orange Julius' however.
