Sweet. That's Ti, right? I love that color. Sometimes it seems almost violet to me, esp. when I'm wearing polarized sunglasses. Ever notice that?

Wow! great idea. Really cool. I've only done a couple time-lapse shots like that before, for fun. I've never really used such a long shutter combined with my own lighting for a serious photo, though. I'll have to try it - you got great results. Last night I was skimming through a brochure I picked up at the dealer, and was wondering how they got the combination of lighting streaks/sharp focus. I think they must have done something similar, possibly with a rotating platform. Of course I'm never going to have anything that complex, but your results make me want to try! Again, really nice job.

Thanks, Nick! I might suggest using my approach at night, with your car sitting on a wet road or driveway, for some very dramatic effects. (I just remember "8:30," like the time, for f8 at 30 seconds, as a rough guideline.) I have found that using a tripod and natural light, or random flashes, really yields some great effects.

Here are four pics I took during a 5 minute stop on my way home from work; it's times like this I wish I had a camera which captured in raw images, not jpg :

I like this one, not because of the background, but because of the reflection of the sun!

here is one of mine from Thanksgiving, I really liked the water and the ships in the background. My camera is pretty old though so when it gets replaced I'll be snapping stuff all over the place. The second pic I took on the drive home through Corpus Christi, just held my camera out the sunroof and clicked. lol

Cool it was a rainy day.

It was raining, I tell you. I was parked outside of a Toyota dealer, of all the God Forsaken places I could have parked. But I just couldn't help snapping a little pic from across the street, fresh from nearly puking on a Highlander. It came out OK.

Yeah, wow, I really like that first one with the drawing filter. Is it just a filter or did you have to do some tweaking?
