Is anyone using winter tires for the 8 and if so what size, is it possible to use 16 inch rims on the gt?

 

Yes, many people are using winter tires. It is almost a requirement if you are going to drive the car in snowy/icy conditions. 16 inch wheels will not clear the brakes on the manual RX-8s, but some 17 inch wheels will.
