clear corners/ accessories?

Hey,
I definately think it looks better with clear corners....I could only find two manufacturers, one link from this site to the rx8shop, who says that it's a japanese part.....but the pic looks weird, as if they weren't fitted properly so i didn't order it...and the other was a JDM make for the clear corners...so i was confused and this delayed my purchase. It's hard to tell if the JDM one's look decent or cheap?

anyone know which ones to go for.

When i first bought the car i wanted to add the front lowered accessory and the all those ground effects (the mazda ones), but recently i'm thinking they look kindof cheese? No offense to anyone that has done this, but does anybody agree that they don't look so great? Is it worth doing?
I also don't love the spoilers otherwise i would have grabbed one.

I think i would have preferred all black leather on my titanium GT Rx8, but that option is unavailable in canada. I like the duotone leather, but i think after the novelty wears off it can seem annoying. Comments?

I found a place when I was searching for it. www.optauto.com
It's says it's a real JDM part. Seems like a very trust worthy company, will let you know how they are when I get them.

yeah let me know, thing is i was hoping that they were really clear, as in non opaque, with a slight tint, like the sides of the back lights...these just look non orange, but opaque and cheesy.... i dunno...hoping there's a higher end version with clear glass, and mirror maybe with slight tints to match the back...sortof like the side of the headlights on the 2003 protege 5....

okay cool, well I guess that's as good as it gets. I'll order a pair. Are they hard to install on your own? Hey can we see a pic of those rims you got there on the titanium? they look hype.

Ciao

I've recently taken the front bumper off, the first part involves removing the clear corners.

Dead easy, undo about 4 or 5 of the push clip screws that hold the wheel arch lining on, then there is a single screw at the end of the clear corner, undo that and the whole thing just slides off.

You can see my rims on https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/veilside-d1-gt-titanium-doesnt-fit-32598/page3/ (towards bottom of page)

and more on https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/new-spolier-ctd-germany-27243/page2/

JL, where in Canada are you? The GTA? If so there are some JDM importers in the area, same with the 604 area....this way you won't get taken for a ride with S+H, duties, and brokerage fees.

I wonder if the UK side markers follow the contour of the body?? As in not sticking out and just like our amber OEM ones do?
