Angry RPM problem! My 8 is slower!

Has anyone had this problem? My 8 started to drive weird 2 days ago. First my check engine light came on.The RPMs are ridiculously low between shifts. As everybody knows rotary engines love high RPMs but my 8 wont let me go over 6,000 RPMs anymore. The car doesn't accellerate as fast anymore either. I schedule an appointment at the Mazda dealer for Tue. But I think they won't help me since I lowered the car with tanabe springs.Someone please help.

springs

unless you lowered it to the point where the tires are rubbing against the wheel-well to the point of slowing you down....the dealership should still help you. if u are having a transmission/engine problem, it is a different warrenty issue. usually the warrenty is void on just the part that you swap out. not the whole warranty. now, if ur driving and your spring falls off........, they will not cover THAT expense.

Your cat ate a mouse full of gas and got fried.

possibly Cat

I did hear after i came from the track a faint crackyling noise under the car. almost like loose metal but it went away quick so i didn't think nothing of it. It might be the cat. I'll find out when i take it to the dealer. Thanks for all your help guys. I was streessing over the warranty issue thanks pret for your input.
