Anyone with the b pillar trim accessory...

Long story, deer, replaced door, etc. But over the weekend washing the car I noticed that instead of the b pillar trim, the bodyshop had just painted the pillar black. I was wondering if the B pillar trims, like the one canzoomer sells

replace the sticker on the pillar (read: you remove the old one, then put the new one on) or if it stick ontop of the original one. I think I am going to take my car back to the bodyshop and insist they order the proper pillar sticker, but its just a big PITA. Wondering if I just got one of the accessories if I could just save some trouble.

I'm not sure I understand

when I got my ms pillars I just stuck them right on and thats it
you dont remove anything
