Hello everyone! Just made an account today and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Blake. I have been on the forums reading for a little over a year. Here is my 2005 Mazda RX8 Shinka edition. It’s a 6 speed and has a bit over 127k miles on it. I bought it 2 years ago with low compression. Put a faster starter, BHR coils and limped it along for over a year until summer/fall 2025 it spun both rotor bearings. It was still running when I took it apart but it definitely made a bit of noise. Being that everything was pretty much toast in that engine I bought a used engine from an import place with about 50-60k supposed miles on it. Compression showed around 110 when hot after installing and running for about a week and it’s been great. I’ve put about 7k miles on it so far. Really looking forward to engaging more with the community and learning more. Needless to say, I know how to use the search function so don’t expect any brain dead questions from me haha. Learned a lot on here so far and would like to share some
