Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. Have been looking over the forums on and off.

Have driven an RX-8 a number of times over the years, but never had the space/time to have a project car. Finally at the point in my life where I can, and my wife is going with it.

Hoping to buy a project S1 with a clean body to turn into a 3/4 year good weather driver. Maybe some track driving as well. I like the idea of getting a car repaired/maintained to just keep it going and enjoy it.

Have been maintaining my own cars for almost 30 years and have worked a varied mix of things when I was younger that gave me auto body, machining, welding, and mechanics experience. Also have decent amount of experience with electronics repair and diagnostics. Though now have moved into other directions. Hoping I can offer something and be a part of the community.
