So I double check all the numbers and IDs from my current key (switch blade key) and bought the same key with the same numbers and ID, but it’s not the key that’s the problem, I just can’t enter the paring mode to set the new key fob up

i follow the process tree
open door turn key off and on press drivers door switch (That’s summarized I did each step correctly)

but no matter how many times I do it, the door locks never cycle, I’ve tried waiting longer than 40 seconds, I’ve tried to manually cycle the locks, I tried opening and closing every door and trunk, no avail

what am I missing or do not know about

2004, 6 speed, no moon roof, no dsc, with yellow dot sway bars. I only have the one switch blade key
