RPM break up/sputter help pls!

So i noticed that in the higher around 7-9k it would break up slightly so what i did was go ahead and order the BHR coils aswell as MSD wires and oem plugs.
After installing the new stuff im still having rpm breakup but its intensified. I triple checked and made sure everything is connected properly but the issue remains. It almost feels like its fuel cutting but i have no codes for lean/rich or no codes at all for that matter.
There is also no flashing CEL so idk if its misfiring. i Did a compression test 2 weeks ago and it was 90-100 psi on all faces.

Here is a video to help reference: https://streamable.com/b87sci
The first rev it breaks up at like 2k and the second rev its like i hit a rev limiter at 7k. This was 70% throttle the whole time.

new fuel pump has been in for 30k, New plugs and wires are 100% hooked up right. I also know that my SSV is working properly because i tested it.

this weekend these are the things i will try, Please comment anything else you think i should check!
1. Put old coil packs in and leave new wires and plugs to see if that fixes anything.
2. try another set of new spark plugs if old coil packs dont help & if neither work ill try another set of wires last.
3.clean the crank sensor and MAF sensor.

I think the plug wires have different connections... so the BHR ones won't likely fit the OEM coils.
Usually if you change something and the problem follows it... you need to look elsewhere for the problem. So might not hurt to clean the ESS and the MAF first.. although I've never been a big clean MAF guy. If it's reading wrong you will be able to tell in the fuel trims and codes it will throw.

If it is only doing it in open loop that usually takes the O2 sensors out of the loop. Might not hurt trying to disconnect the WB and see if it changes anything. You will get a code and need to relearn after you reset but it might help.

If its misfiring you should get a flashing CEL though...

I would suggest using a spark tester.
They are inexpensive and it will very quicky determine if ignition is the problem.
If its been running for a while checking the plugs is invaluable.
I checked mine yesterday!

Have you checked to see if the CAT is clogged? Could be possible you would get a bogged down feeling at higher RPM if that were the case.

Did your original cat's strata break up?
If it did, pieces could block the cat back exhaust.
Just a thought.

If yo knew what the air fuel ratio was when it hesitates ...that would help a LOT !

yes ...although it only goes as low as 11 and bogging is usually below 10. Under load you should see numbers above 11 ...so if it's not , that's likely what your problem is.

I recorded some vids from my OBD2 app here is what i got:
This time around i did end up getting a flashing CEL. Code was random/multiple cylinder misfire.

2nd gear WOT pull: https://streamable.com/909ffv

Neutral revs (2 separate clips)
1. https://streamable.com/0jid9s
2. https://streamable.com/pa2bbv

^^ this. Your AFR is in the 16s while commanded AFR (what it's trying to have) is 13s. Gonna want to stop doing more pulls before you get knock at the wrong moment.

Also don't worry about revving it out in neutral, without load on the engine that doesn't give useful info and isn't great for the engine.

Yeah will do. This was the first time i read the AFR.

Not sure what is causing this i have a new fuel pump but i suppose i will test fuel pressure and see if my pump is bad again.

I have a stock airbox but there is a small crack where the hose clamps onto the throttle body which is def causing a vacc leak but i have had that there for awhile and it has caused any issues.

AEM intake and a new MAF is arriving today actually so we will see if that fixes it.

What g/s am i looking for at WOT

The mass airflow meter readings vary not with throttle position so much but are aligned with engine speed. What are you seeing at idle and at say 4k rpm and then at redline?

Maybe pull your stock intake now and check the mesh inserts are not twisted or damaged. Also clean the maf itself and try a new one or see if you can borrow one.
You should see 5.5 ish g/s at idle and 210-220 g/s wot at 8500rpm . Yours is so far out that it's surprising your symptoms aren't much worse.
