Ok guys I searched a bit and this might be easier and who doesn’t like to post anyway
. So will 255/40-18 tires fit under my 10 rx8 with +45 offset?
I have 245/40 now and they are fine juts not sure how wide I can go. Want to keep same size front and back to be able to swap around.

You should be good. I test fitted 255/40 R17 RT660 on 17x9 +45 RPF1. I know you are talking about another inch in diameter, but for stock height you should have plenty of clearance.

 

The wheel fitment between S1 and S2 is the same; exactly the same. So sorry, the S2 is only special for being heavier and having a low production engine that not only requires unique/special parts, but that also hasn’t proven to be any better.
