7000K Nokya Stage II 100W H11 bulbs look like after a few months usage
These are how the bulbs look after a few months of usage
I paid $40 for them!!! Though they still work and were as bright as when they first installed; super white compared to stock. I Guess these bulbs must be running really hot

yeah Osram only make 'common' headlight bulbs for the Silverstar
Welll, after this I'm going to switch to OEM yellow bulbs
Not going to spend another dime on those bulbs again! Now I know why cheap bulbs do blow :p
Maybe I'm using it too long of a period ~5 hours night driving? But that's no excuse for bulbs to be deformed like that after extensive use.

Do not touch the glass envelope with your skin.. the oils from your hand made that lamp do that . The heat is drawn to the oil you left behind on the glass . That makes it do that. It will blow next.
Tha is the only reason that lamp did that.

i had a set of Nokya H4 'hyperwhite' bulbs on my Protege. I installed the bulbs the 'proper way' (not touching the bulbs with my bare hands), and it still blew out and looked like the pics above after 6 months *shrug*
