Alabama Rotary Repair Shop

I need an engine rebuild. Any reputable shops? I’m located in Northeast Alabama.

Your best bet as far as I know is Rotary Ressurection in Tennessee.

I've compiled a list of rebuilders, if you find someone not on the list, please post there and I will add it.

Also, a review of any work done would be helpful.
Thanks in advance and Good Luck!

Do they do rebuilds?
If so, do you want to post a link for the rebuilders thread?
Thanks.

Talladega/Oxford area. Gadsden would be no problem for me.

Where did you end up getting your rebuild done? I'm in NE Alabama as well. Trying to find someone closer than Rotary Resurrection in TN.

im in huntsville and i made the drive to rotary resurrection. took about 4 hours each way, but it was 100% worth it. he got it done super quick, had used and new parts for me to chose from in stock, took tons of great pictures of the process, explained stuff i had questions about, and for a great price. would definitely suggest making the drive if you need a rebuild.

Yeah I think I've decided to go up there after all. I sent him an email tonight. I'm in Huntsville too and the dang dealership here won't even do a compression test for me. Figured I'll just make the drive to Kevin anyways because I'm not sure what else could be wrong at this point lol been in and out of the shop for months. Did you drive your whole car to RR or pull the engine yourself?

i pulled the engine myself and took it to him fully dressed (would not suggest if you dont have a lift, somehow he gets it all done on jackstands which is very impressive imo). i chose to do it myself because of 2 reasons... 1- im a broke 17 year old and it would cost $1k more. 2- my car didnt run at all and i didnt want to deal with trailering it all the way up there. if you are up for spending the extra money, or dont have a lift i would suggest getting the whole car up there, he's been doing it for so long he knows the car inside out.
