Alabama Rotary Repair Shop
I need an engine rebuild. Any reputable shops? I’m located in Northeast Alabama.

Your best bet as far as I know is Rotary Ressurection in Tennessee.
I've compiled a list of rebuilders, if you find someone not on the list, please post there and I will add it. Also, a review of any work done would be helpful. Thanks in advance and Good Luck! https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discuss...ilders-265177/ |

If so, do you want to post a link for the rebuilders thread? Thanks. |
Talladega/Oxford area. Gadsden would be no problem for me.

im in huntsville and i made the drive to rotary resurrection. took about 4 hours each way, but it was 100% worth it. he got it done super quick, had used and new parts for me to chose from in stock, took tons of great pictures of the process, explained stuff i had questions about, and for a great price. would definitely suggest making the drive if you need a rebuild.

i pulled the engine myself and took it to him fully dressed (would not suggest if you dont have a lift, somehow he gets it all done on jackstands which is very impressive imo). i chose to do it myself because of 2 reasons... 1- im a broke 17 year old and it would cost $1k more. 2- my car didnt run at all and i didnt want to deal with trailering it all the way up there. if you are up for spending the extra money, or dont have a lift i would suggest getting the whole car up there, he's been doing it for so long he knows the car inside out.
