Hey folks, I'm the owner of and 05 rx8. I bought it a year ago from a shop thinking I could make a quick flip but it all blew up in my face, so now I'm stuck with a really nice body without an engine. I may do a LS swap one day if I cant find anyone to take it off my hands (hint hint). Thanks for reading.

 

You would have a lot more luck if you tell us where you are located......and how much you are asking for the shell

 

Drop-key LS swaps exist, but they start from 10k+. LS-swapped RX-8s also sell for peanuts.

 

I did, it says MD for Maryland in the title :D . I would like to get $1200 for it and all the other parts that go with it. It was a two rotor automatic, silver with black interior and 18 inch OEM wheels. The body is pretty clean except for a small scratch in the right rear door, and the interior is in great shape except for the infamous passenger side dash. It had around 95,000 on the odometer when it stopped. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know. I may be willing to part it out but it would be a shame considering how nice the body is.

 

God, if you were closer, I'd seriously consider it just to have a parts car.
