I have a hot start problem with my rx8. I dont travel much and i am aware that my engine needs a rebuild as the compression is dropping but doesnt show any other signs of low compression E.G. blue fumes out exhaust, shaking when idle. smoking after 2 minutes, other than not starting when hot. I plan to do an engine rebuild around the end of this year, but int he mean time i would like a 2.2Kw starter motor for an auto, but cant find any anywhere. I have new leads plugs and coils in my rx8, just need a 14 tooth starter for it. If anyone could send me a link to one? I am also from New Zealand/Australia, so shipping may not be available on some products. Thanks in advance!
