Squealing / screeching noise when the ignition is turned off

Hello all,
Recently my RX8 started making a weird noise when I turn my car off. Every time I turn the ignition off, if the car is running or not, there is a loud screeching noise coming either from the alternator or under it. I can't figure out what is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a link to a video of the sound

that's a new one for me - never heard that sound shutting any car off. Was the car fully warmed up? Oil level? Recent maintenance?

Yes the car was warm. Just drove home from work. It happens every single time the ignition is switched off even if the car is off, cold or warm.

Try to remove the intake hose so you can see the throttle body and cycle the key on and off. See if the noise corresponds to movement of the throttle plates. They're supposed to cycle every time the car is shut off. Yours could have a problem.

If it's not that, try to put a wooden stick up to individual parts, one end on the part, one end at your ear and have an assistant cycle the key. When the stick is on the component making the noise, you will hear it very clearly with the stick.

Also put the stock intake back on
