Sheared off rear wheel stud, safe to drive?

Or do I need to have it towed to the shop - under 5 miles?

I was in the process of replacing the shocks when I bent my lug wrench trying to get the passenger rear wheel off. Figured it needed new tires anyway, so a nice new set. Then when I get it home I shear off the first bolt I try to get off. Grrrrrrrrrrr. So now I have to sweet talk my mechanic into not dipping into the kids college accounts.

You are fine on 4 as long as you are careful....no rally racing

I would check the remaining studs very carefully for stretch or deformation as well. Likely someone used a strong impact on them without a torque stick or other way to limit the torque

And a little never seize goes a long way
