Hi need some info my rx8 got a cosmo 13 b with GT45 turbo conv but my rev counter is giving issues and this mabe why my electric power steering is going off anyone who knows where i can look or start to find issue ?

You're going to have to give a lot more info man. What kind of issues is the tach giving? What engine management is in place? How's it all wired together?

 

If you use the Renesis chopper wheel, the metal disc on the front of the Eccentric shaft and ensure it is mounted in the correct orientation along with the Eccentric shaft sensor, the Tacho will work fine.
Depending which year of manufacture,the Cosmo was equipped with a 12a, 13B resi, 13b re and a 20b rew,along with several piston engines.

 

cosmo came with both 20b and 13b.

 

Where do you think the 13b-RE came from? The Cosmo had different engine options.

 

hi okay ill try to start , it running michrotech lt10c , its wired so that the original computer is still in my car that needs a signal from crank to make the old comp think its still working everything , now for some od reason my rev countre only goes up to 6500 rpm and suddenly stops and starts working again i did replace the sensor and holder but no luck ( and my steering also suddenly not working so i dont know if its related ! )
