I've recently noticed that the fender gaps on my rear wheelwells are signifantly uneven . Granted I'm a big guy (6'2, 250) and normally drive alone, but I've never experienced this much difference on any other of my vehicles (including my Miata). Is there a way to balance this out?

The reason I noticed, is because I've been having a little tire rub since about a month after putting my Volk 19's on. The rub is only on signifigant bumps at speed, or taking a fast, hard turn, and only on the drivers side. I'm planning on rolling the rear fenders now, but knowing the car sits uneven is really getting to me.

Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What is significant? Ask a friend to use a yardstick to measure from the top of the fender lip straight down to the ground with no one in the car. Do that on all four corners. Then ask them to do the same thing with you in the car. Post the results including how much gas was in the car at the time.

I'll do that as soon as I find a yard stick. Visually, with no one in the car and a 1/2 tank there is over an inch of difference from the top of the tire to the apex of the fender arch on the rears. The fronts look fine

I'm getting the rear fenders rolled by a professional car builder here in Germany. Not so much because of the rubbing (because it's very minimal), but because I'm going with either springs or coilovers in the near future.
