So my problem is that I start my 8 just fine but when I shift into first gear it won't hit 1 mph till I reach 6k rpms. It'll run right after but will do the same when I upshift, what can I do to get rid of it:/.

 

it would help if you even said what type of transmission you have since it's pretty obviously a trans problem of some sort.

And give a little better description. does it always have to be above 6k when you are driving or will it drive fine when below 6k.

 

It will run under 6k in the beginning but after a while it will not run under 6k only when I pass it, it's a manual 04

 

with the car cold, pull the ebrake and put it in gear. Then let up on the clutch and see if it dies. The first thought would be clutch system, if not that then most likely the transmission.

 

Sound like your clutch is toste.

 

Hahaha yes sir its your clutch, happen to me the 1st time I got an 8 few years back..not used to the revs..rode on the clutch alot expecially when in town...
