It's like any other car, reapply the wax per the manufacturer's recommendations, don't wash the car with harsh soaps like an automatic carwash or dish soap, use spray wax if you need to clean up bird poop or something like that.

Most polymer sealants are supposed to last longer also..

Wax protects paint, you don't protect wax because it would defeat the purpose of having an easily replaceable sacrificial coating.

Better wax is the solution.

NO!

Bird poop contains stones and other crap (no pun intended). Best and safest way to remove it is to use carbonated water.

Turtle Wax' Bug and Tar remover will loosen any bird crap and float it away, and it also has turtle wax in it to leave a lasting shine. I have used many products and this is the best for my RX8.

Most off the shelf waxes have the tendency to wear off pretty quickly after numerous washes. Although, Collinite 845 is what I'll be using next. It is an insulator wax that a friend of mine uses, and the durability is pretty amazing for the price.

A coat of Klasse and then a layer of 845 are my go-to .

NuFinish polymer is a good choice, and will last many months.

Depends what you want to do with them I suppose.
My mostly garaged never winter driven RX8 I have only ever used Zaino Bros since it was new, and 11 years later, the paint colour still pops. (Yeah, I know, car polish holy war.)

On my daily-driven, winter vehicle truck, I use Collinite. I only have to wax it a couple of times per year, which, given the size of it, and my level of concern for it, is perfect.
I also use it on my wife's WRX just before the winter, then in the spring when it's just about due for a re-coat, I'll use something else off my shelf.

Don't use dish soap to wash your car lol That's pretty much it. Plus, reapply.
