Using SpotBot on mats & carpet?
I have a Bissell SpotBot and it's used for cleaning carpets in the house.
Since I'm planning on detailing cars for some money, could I use this on any car's carpets?
And what should I put in it? I use Oxyclean for in the house. Is Oxyclean safe for the interior of cars?
Here's what I'm talking about:

Obsessive Paint Polisher
The SpotBot should work fine Yeti, I've read about several detailers using them. Depending on how busy you get and how many nasty minivans you end up doing, a larger extractor will be one of your first purchases I'm sure.
I pretreat carpet spots, brush with a firm bristle brush, then extract with only hot water in my machine. I'm not familiar with how the Bissell works. You may not need to add anything into the machine. Use a low foaming action cleaner either way. Oh, and do a test spot, but auto carpets are pretty hardy fibers. I haven't run across any color fastness issues.
